Bep Ben strives to be the healthiest dog food available, while being convenient for you. Since we don’t include any preservatives, we recommend you follow the instructions below, to keep the food as fresh as possible.

Below, we’ll show you:

  1. How to store Bep Ben
  2. How to serve Bep Ben

How to Store Bep Ben

We recommend you:

  1. Put our Bep Ben Fresh Dog Food in the freezer. (They can last up to 6 months in the freezer (unopened).)
  1. Move the rolls from the freezer to the fridge 1-2 days before serving. They last for 7 days in the fridge (unopened) and 2 days (opened).

Why we freeze the meals

We freeze our meals after they’re cooked to lock in all the goodness. Freezing is a natural preservative that we use, instead of artificial preservatives, to ensure your dog’s meals are fresh and easy to deliver to you.

How to Serve Bep Ben

If you’re feeling a bit confused, below is an easy step-by-step guide to get you started:

  1. Take it out from the freezer into the fridge.  (Remember to put it in the fridge 1-2 days before serving so it has time to defrost.)
  2. Slice the appropriate amount for your dog (Please see the Feeding Guidelines for more information. If you have any other questions, please contact us on Facebook).
  3. Dice the food so they’re in smaller chunks.
  4. And...Serve!

Since you’re serving healthy fresh food, please remember to clean your dog’s bowl before every meal.

What if I forgot to defrost my rolls?

The best option is to pop the Bep Ben rolls under cold running water or leave it in a bowl of water (unopened). Ideally, check on it after 15 minutes and when ready, serve it to your pupper! If it’s still frozen and your dog prefers a minced meal/softer food, you can put the Bep ben diced food in the microwave (in a microwaveable dish) under the defrost setting to allow an even defrosting of the meal. We recommend mixing the meal around when you can, to avoid any parts getting too hot.

My dogs prefer their meals heated

We’ve had a few cases where our Bep Benners like to have their meals heated up a little (including our Little Nori!)

You can do this by:

  • Popping their meals into a microwaveable dish and warming it up
  • Lightly cooking the food in using a pan over low heat
  • Using an air fryer to gently heat up the food on low heat

Just be careful to not leave it in for too long - or else it’ll cook away the nutrients and get too hot. Either way, we’re certain that you’ll agree with your dog, that Bep Ben smells delicious!
